Writing your Personal Statement

The personal statement is your conversation with the admission committee and a chance to tell your story. In this interactive session, we’ll explain the dos and don’ts of the essay and share examples from successful applications to Reed.

Navigating Selective College Admission

We’ll unpack the college rankings system and help you reflect on what you’re looking for in a school. You’ll walk away with tips on a successful application and strategies for applying to selective colleges.

Acing the Interview

Take a deep dive into the college interview and discover how this face-to-face meeting fits into the larger application process. Please note: This session is intended for students currently attending school in the US.

Understanding Financial Aid

Anna Hitchcock, Associate Director of Financial Aid, will demystify financial aid, explain how it works, and show you how to apply. This overview, featuring Reed-specific examples, will be a handy guide for understanding the financial aid process.
